He lost his parents, his language, and his country, but not his passion for what it means to be Tibetan and to remain openhearted.
TEAM TIBET – Home away from Home reveals the inspirational life of Thuten Kesang QSM, New Zealand’s first Tibetan refugee. It symbolizes a universal story of the positive potential of every individual to effect change through non-violence and to engender hope through understanding.
After more than twenty-two years of research and filming (in New Zealand, USA and India), the film recently celebrated its World Premiere at the New Zealand International Film Festival (NZIFF) in Auckland, which sold out, and fabulous response to our screenings in Christchurch, Wellington and Dunedin! Our film festival screenings will conclude in Nelson on 25 and 26 August:
- NELSON: Friday 25 August 11am & Saturday 26 August at 1:15pm https://www.nziff.co.nz/2017/nelson/team-tibet-home-away-from-home/
Thanks for helping to get the word out about our screenings at NZIFF!
